ESTUDIANDO CERAMB\u00cdCIDOS: PHYTOECIA RUFIPES (Lamiinae, Cerambycidae)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phytoecia rufipes<\/em><\/strong> es un cole\u00f3ptero ceramb\u00edcido perteneciente a un g\u00e9nero ampliamente distribuido por todo el pale\u00e1rtico (con unas 40 especies). En Espa\u00f1a, seg\u00fan la revisi\u00f3n de P\u00e9rez-\u00cd\u00f1igo (1979), existen 9 especies: Phytoecia caerulea<\/em><\/strong>, P. nigricornis<\/em><\/strong>, P. cylindrica<\/em><\/strong>, P. icterica<\/em><\/strong>, P. erythrocnema<\/strong><\/em>, P. virgula<\/em><\/strong>, P. pustulata<\/em><\/strong>, P. algerica<\/em><\/strong> y P. rufipes<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P. rufipes<\/em><\/strong> se distribuye por toda la cuenca mediterr\u00e1nea y, en la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, ocupa todo su territorio. Todos los ejemplares observados fueron localizados en plantas de Foeniculum vulgare<\/em><\/strong> (hinojo), su planta nutricia (las larvas se alimentan exclusivamente de esta).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El color general del tegumento es el negro, con f\u00e9mures y tibias de un rojo \/ anaranjado muy vistoso. El cuerpo est\u00e1 cubierto por un fino tomento gris\u00e1ceo. Como es habitual tambi\u00e9n en otras especies de ceramb\u00edcidos, los machos tienen antenas m\u00e1s largas que las hembras, con artejos totalmente negros y cubiertos de tomento oscuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
